In the weeks leading up to the mainnet launch, the afterburner period rewards will be expanded to include Brains and Brain Credits. The new reward structure is as follows:

• Pepecoin: 500 Staked Pepecoin = 1 $BASED per day
• Brain Credits: 6 Staked Brain Credits = 1 $BASED per day
• Brains: 1 Staked Brain = 166 $BASED per day

Although it may seem like the inclusion of Brains and Brain Credits boosts emissions, it is simply a substitution for the Pepecoin burn mechanism with a projected lower emission rate. Since the staking rate remains constant despite the increasing price of Brain Credits, all Brain Credits will yield more $BASED compared to each Pepecoin. This advantage persists until 60,000,000 Pepecoin have been burned.

There is also an advantage to burning earlier as the price of Brain Credits in terms of Pepecoin is lower the earlier the burn transaction is made. For instance:

• The first 10,000 Pepecoin burned gets approximately 6,454.55 Brain Credits.
• 1,000,000 Pepecoin burned gets 95,600 Brain Credits.
• 30,000,000 Pepecoin burned gets approximately 543,240.88 Brain Credits.
